What gear do you use?

Our gear rides the balance of quality & function. We need the best quality possible without it getting in the way of a moment. Right now we shoot on Sony a7Siii’s with a blend of our favorite glass.

Do you have a list of add-ons?

Everything you need for a beautiful wedding film is included in the listed price, but if you want more, we are happy to share a list of additions.

Does the price include travel fees?

If you’re getting married within 100 miles of Minneapolis, you’re all set! If you’re outside of that range, please let us know and we will provide travel pricing.

Do you offer discounts?

We don’t offer discounts, but if you’re looking for a budget friendly option, check out our friends at www.brighthouseweddings.co!

How long until we receive our film?

We take our time with each story. We select music that fits the two of you, we review hours of footage, and listen to all of the audio captured. It takes time and we don’t cut any corners. Average turnaround is 14-16 weeks, but never beyond 16. For those that need their film quicker, we offer a quick turnaround option.

What is in our gift box?

We love surprises, so we’re not telling! Aside from your wedding film, it has some goodies that you’ll love, delivered in a beautiful keepsake box.

How many hours of coverage do we need?

This is a great question and one that’s hard to answer as a blanket statement. Each wedding is different and everyone has unique moments that are important to them. This question is better answered during our first meeting!

How long have you been filming weddings?

Just over 10 years! We’ve filmed thousands hours of weddings alone, not to mention all of the engagement sessions, additional shoots, and rehearsal dinners we’ve been a part of. Needless to say, we have quite a bit of experience!

How many weddings do you do per year?

We’ve taken up to 50 per year some years, but we’ve found our sweet spot right around 25-30 and try to stick in that range as much as possible. If we have 30 booked and you’re getting married in Bali, we’ll probably make an exception for 31 that year ;)

How would you describe your style?

Oh man! We’d love to hear how YOU describe our style. Obviously there is a reason you’ve stuck around this far to read this question! Simply put, our work is timeless and journalistic in nature. We’re fun, respectful, and passionate. Our number one priority is creating a unique film for you while staying true to our creative expression.
