We take on only a handful of weddings each year, allowing us to give each celebration the attention it deserves—and to follow the story wherever it leads.

Founded in 2013, Alma is a Minneapolis-based wedding film studio with a small team of filmmakers and editors. We’ve had the privilege of documenting celebrations across Minnesota and around the world, always with the same approach: be present, be observant, and let the day unfold naturally.
Sofía and Josh lead the Alma team, bringing a shared love for beautiful places, meaningful celebrations, and the people at the center of them. We’re warm, unobtrusive, and intentional in the way we work — giving you direction when it’s helpful and space when it’s not.
Because years from now, we want your film to do more than remind you what your wedding looked like.
