Elizabeth & Braeden's Northern Minnesota Wedding Weekend

Private family residence · Pine River, MN

Elizabeth and Braeden's wedding weekend was colorful, joyful and reminiscent. These two met at Braeden’s cabin, and so it was fitting to host their wedding at the same place it all started. Friday’s rehearsal dinner at Antlers at Breezy Point Resort was full of beautiful speeches and stories from family and friends. The welcome party on the lawn at Grand View Lodge was a beautiful scene as friends and family hugged the couple and enjoyed woodfired pizza and s’mores under the stars. The wedding day started with everyone getting ready at the family cabin overlooking the lake.

A weekend, not just a day

When we are a part of a full weekend of events, rather than just the wedding day, it gives us so many opportunities to capture great moments between the couple, but also their family and friends. Rehearsal dinners and welcome parties give us a more candid look, and allows us to film some really sweet, joyful moments.

“You two deserve a love that makes you laugh on the hard days. A love that grows stronger through every version of life.”

Lauren LaDriere, maid of honor and bride’s sister

From Our Lady of Lourdes to the tent

Elizabeth and Braeden got married at Our Lady of Lourdes church in Pine River. Later, Milestone Event Rental's tent, Girl Friday Creative's installations, PHOS Events lighting after dark and Ashley Fox Designs florals turned a private family home near Pine River into something that felt both grand and personal. The Jordan Kahn Orchestra kept the dance floor full well past sunset. The entire event was seamless - from the design and timeline, all the way down to the final touches in the reception tent. Jacqueline from Collected & Co did an amazing job planning and designing this wedding!

In her sister's words

Elizabeth and Braeden asked for the voices of the weekend to be kept close - private vows, the reactions of their two grandmothers, and the speeches they would want to hear again years from now. The teaser opens on one of those voices: Lauren LaDriere, Elizabeth's younger sister and maid of honor. "Watching her has taught me many things," she said, "kindness, curiosity, bravery, but one of the most significant of all is how to love someone endlessly." She wished them "a lifetime of choosing each other over and over again," and the tent raised a glass to Mr. and Mrs. Fitzgerald.

The next-day teaser

This is the next-day teaser - a short film delivered while the weekend was winding down. Elizabeth and Braeden's longer film is still in the works! We love having a next-day teaser as a way for our couples and everyone involved in creating such a beautiful wedding weekend to be able to relive the moments the day after!
